A C1 course or similar in University is not accepted as proof. Same goes to any other proof that is not listed above. Please refrain from sending emails regarding this.

    • Proof of your German language skills – A2 level minimum according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), if your education has been conducted in a language other than German (original certificate or regular copy).

Latest update due to the coronavirus situation:

      • Please note that we have extended the deadline for submitting your applications and we will accept language certificate submissions after the deadline as well. ETS, the company behind TOEFL is currently organizing special tests that can be done from home. Soon this should be available in more countries.
      • However, we cannot issue an admission letter without all documents available. Therefore, international applicants, due to visa procedures, would need to send us the test results as soon as possible.
      • For the moment, we advise you to prepare and send us the rest of the documents and add a note when we should expect the language results. Ideally, you would add a confirmation for a test registration as well (if possible).
    • Applicants from China, Vietnam and Mongolia will have to include APS certification. Please take care of this early on if you are planning to apply because it can take a while until you get the certification. Without this, your application won’t reach the admission board.
