Seminar Offers in the Summer Term 2025

All IIS students who wish to take any seminar in the summer term 2025 must follow a new centralized registration process. Registration is only possible through StudOn and must be completed by April 17, 2025, 23:55h. Participation in the process is mandatory for all applicants—no exceptions.

Centralized Seminar Registration Process (via StudOn)

Step 1: Pre-Assessment (Deadline: April 17, 23:55h)
Before selecting a seminar, all applicants must complete a mandatory pre-assessment to be eligible for seminar allocation.

Step 2: Indication of Preferences (Deadline: April 17, 23:55h)
Once the pre-assessment has been completed, students must indicate their preferences for seminar topics. This step is also mandatory and determines your potential topic allocation.

Step 3: Notification (Starting April 18)
After the registration deadline, students will be notified via email about their assigned chair and seminar topic. The email will also include instructions on how to proceed, including how to obtain your specific seminar assignment and how to get in touch with your supervisor.

You can apply for one or more seminar places until Thursday, 17.04.2025, via the central StudOn seminar platform:

After the application deadline, seminar places will be assigned automatically. After that, you have time until Tuesday, 22.04.2025, to accept or release your place. If you do not receive a (desired) seminar place in the first round, a move-up procedure will take place afterwards, in which you can reapply for available seminar places directly via the respective chairs.
